Experienced winegrower seeking tract of land to expand Maine-grown grapes and local wine production

I am looking for a plot of land where I can pursue my goals of rearing healthful and expressive New England grapes for creating high quality and delicious local wines. Great vineyard sites can be hidden nearly anywhere, but sun-exposed sites with well-drained soils are most ideal.

Initial plans for the farm include 10 acres of grapevines, with hopes of a later expansion into orchards and other fermentable soft fruits and  berries.

Growing up in Maine, I spent every weekend of my childhood at my grandparents' house in Bowdoinham. Over the last 15 years I have worked in nearly every aspect of the wine industry, the past 5 focused in learning wine production and viticulture across three continents. I believe New England is poised to become an important producer of sustainable and climate-friendly American wines, but first we need to plant the grapes.
